Anthropologie in GREENSBORO!!!!!!!

I am soo excited...they have opened a new Anthropologie in Greensboro!!! One of the things that I truly miss about living in a city with one is ambling thru glazed eyed slack jawwed at the display and visual delights... always a fun source for ideas in my home as well as displays propping ect. in my work world YAY!!!!!

Octopuses

I just got back from the furniture market in Highpoint and added some images to my current fascination with octopuses. I will be adding other photo as well but they were pretty hardcore about No Photos (!!!) this time...too many people copying stuff I guess! So the necklaces are some steam punk delights that I have founded myself lusting after and the pillow made by Design Legacy...my best friend's amazing company...and the 3 segment art piece by a company called Natural Curiosities...

Spring Fever

These are the images that are burning a hole in my head these days...summer breezes ...planning the look of the great outdoors....enjoying and displaying simply (!!) the bounty of my gardening...my head is pulsing!!! The sweetness of just the austere single flowers grouped together...ahhhhh...and then the succulent wall of Flora Grubbs who is a client of Peddlers....her skill (her husband actually does these installations) and the originality blows me away!!

Wedding Invites

I want to put my wedding invitations here so I can motivate to post my wedding pictures! My neighbor Heather Hayes is an amazing and talented Graphics Designer and she handmade each and every one ( she's for hire BTW)....I had this concept of a collage that was inspired by my best boyfriend's catalog!!! He was sweet enough to allow us to reinterpret the idea with elements that were pertinent to my now husband and me...sweet details...whispered secrets...favorite songs...and the date we met...83 '...which was *YIKES* 25 Delish Years ago...

I am thinking today in the shower of how the simple everyday things are so pleasing to me...all the pretty colors of a VERY WELL assorted bath gel hair product options...the amazing view of mountains out the window in my shower...the sweet face that greets me when I get out...these little things make me smile ...

Airstream dreams

I am thinking this is the proverbial "kill two birds with one stone" here... Atlanta Bartlett's beautiful styling....http://www.atlantabartlett.com/portfolio/21/editorial-3&s=6&np=8 ...So the thought is... need number one...A VACATION!!!!! AND... need number two A HOME OFFICE!!!! Are you following me I am so thinking that one could purchase this delight have it in the backyard for home office and then tote it off to amazing locations on the weekends for vaca'....the teepee fits in here somewhere as well!!

I'm Hot for Teepee's

I am seriously having a thing for teepee's right now and the variety is seemingly endless....cute ones for kid's rooms... authentic ones...twig ones...it's the warm weather and thinking of mosquito bitten legs and a bonfire and the warm light inside...the quietness of the outdoors...I am thinking couldn't be too hard to build right???? Poor hubbie never knows what sort of honey-do list he's coming home to...
